Backstory

Olyver was born the illegitimate son of Lord Franciel Drancelmans of Ishgard and the gardener of his estate. Dying in childbirth, his father took him in as a ward and squire, but due to his illegitimacy, he didn't bare the name of his Father's house. Raised to be a Knight, virtue and honour were instilled in the young boy as he grew. At age 18, his Father came to him with mad ramblings about being the Son of Light, with designs to mark him as such. The fever took him soon after, but upon his deathbed he made his son and heir swear to take Olyver into the house formally, giving him their family name. Upon learning this, Olyver took the markings and had them inscribed into his flesh, as his Father had wished of him, swearing to honour his memory and to protect and serve their House.

Current Events

Swearing fealty to his half-brother, Yvel, whom is very blasé about his title and the responsibility of it all, Olyver spends most of his time covering for his brother, helping with official duties and, where needed, going off to fight as the Knight of house Drancelmans he is.

Ishagardian Nobility: Olyver is always open to RPing with other Ishgardians, but especially other Nobles; purely because putting him into that level of uptight is fun.

OOCly you can call me Sarto.I’m from the UK, so I usually keep EU times, but I also work shifts, including nights, so sometimes my timezone is a bit fucky.
